Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — a shared global roadmap to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the planet by 2030. They call on governments, businesses, and institutions of every kind to act with a common purpose.
Phoenicia University (PU) recognizes its responsibility in advancing this agenda. Education is where change begins — in the students we prepare, the research we pursue, and the communities we serve beyond our campus walls. This commitment is reinforced through our partnerships with bodies that share this vision.
PU is committed to embedding the SDGs across our teaching, research, governance, and community engagement. From expanding access to education and supporting underrepresented groups, to advancing health, equality, and sustainable institutions, our work across all six colleges is guided by the belief that a university's impact should extend well beyond its graduates — turning global goals into everyday practice on our campus.
