Executive Governance & Compliance Committee

Executive governance at Phoenicia University is exercised through the Executive Governance & Compliance Committee (EGCC), which serves as the University’s central governance body for institutional coordination, compliance, and strategic implementation.

The Executive Governance & Compliance Committee (EGCC) ensures that Phoenicia University effectively implements the decisions and directives issued by the Board of Deans, in accordance with the EGCC Policy. Its responsibilities include overseeing governance processes, coordinating the implementation of board-approved actions, and monitoring compliance with both institutional policies and external requirements.

Through its oversight and follow-up functions, the EGCC supports strong governance practices across the University, promoting transparency, accountability, and adherence to established standards as outlined in the EGCC Policy.

The Committee supports institutional leadership by coordinating strategic planning, monitoring performance, managing risk, and promoting adherence to accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

EGCC reports regularly to the Board of Deans on institutional performance, compliance matters, and strategic implementation.
