PU Incubator Info Session Series for the Local Community
On 14 December 2023, the Phoenicia University Incubator (PUI) held a free information session as part of its periodic series of sessions open to both students and the wider local community, inviting attendees to learn about PUI membership and take their first step into the incubation ecosystem. The session welcomed 20 participants from the university and surrounding community.
Attendees received updates on available mentoring tracks, upcoming training opportunities, and how to gain membership access to PUI's shared facilities and thirteen high-tech laboratories.
The session included a walkthrough of the incubation phases, followed by an open Q&A and one-on-one sign-up for mentorship.
The session was led by members of PUI's Advisory Board, including Dr. Ahmad Hijazi , Dean of the College of Business, who advised attendees on business planning and entrepreneurial strategy, and Dr. Dima Basma, Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, who provided legal and regulatory guidance to help ensure projects meet all necessary legal requirements. Together, they offered attendees direct mentorship to help turn their ideas into structured, actionable projects.
This session is part of PUI's ongoing commitment to supporting the creation of financially and socially sustainable businesses within the local community through structured education and hands-on resources.
Attendees with a project ready to move forward were invited to submit their ideas through the Incubator Application directly to PUI's incubation team.
PUI members who wish to make use of PUI's shared facilities and laboratories can also reserve a space through the Incubator Workspace Reservation .
