Waste Sorting Awareness Activity
A Waste Sorting Awareness Activity was organized at the LWAH School of Excellence Green (LSE) to introduce students to responsible waste management, recycling, and the importance of adopting environmentally sustainable habits. Through a fun and interactive educational activity, students learned about the different types of waste and the importance of sorting materials appropriately to facilitate recycling and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. The activity highlighted the environmental consequences of improper waste disposal, including pollution of land and water resources, and emphasized the role of waste reduction and recycling in conserving natural resources. Students were encouraged to apply what they learned in their daily lives by separating recyclable materials, reducing unnecessary waste, reusing items whenever possible, and maintaining clean surroundings. The initiative aimed to strengthen students' understanding of individual environmental responsibility and encourage their active participation in protecting the environment through simple, practical, and sustainable everyday actions.
