Phoenicia University Strengthens Sustainability Commitment with Rooftop Solar PV Installation
Phoenicia University (PU) reinforced its commitment to sustainable campus infrastructure with the installation of a rooftop solar PV plant on December 22, 2021. The plant, comprising 633 solar panels with a total capacity of 376.635 kW, now supplies 66% of the University's total campus energy needs, marking a significant step in PU's long-term infrastructure development strategy.
To support the plant's continued performance, PU regularly conducts environmental and energy audits, helping guide ongoing improvements to campus infrastructure and operational efficiency.
This investment reflects Phoenicia University's broader approach to building resilient, modern campus infrastructure in support of its institutional and sustainability goals.
