Overcoming Adversity: Inspirational Mentorship Talk with Racha Hammade  

On March 29, 2024, the Department of Student Affairs and the COSM Society hosted health advocate and content creator Racha Hammade for a mentorship session in The Generals Smart Hall. Drawing from her journey as a cancer survivor, Ms. Hammade shared strategies on turning personal adversity into community advocacy, dismantling health stigmas, and building emotional resilience. The talk broadened campus mentoring to focus on holistic student well-being, inspiring young women across campus to lead confidently and support one another through challenging life transitions.
