The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a committee designated to review, approve, and oversee research involving human subjects conducted under the authority of Phoenicia University (PU).
Mission: To protect the rights, dignity, and welfare of human research participants by ensuring that all research conducted under the university’s oversight is ethical, legally compliant, and respectful of participants. PU fosters an environment of education, transparency, and collaboration to support meaningful, ethical research that safeguards human subjects and benefits society.
Vision: To uphold the highest ethical standards in human subjects research at PU, fostering a research culture rooted in integrity, respect, and social responsibility, while encouraging innovation that enhances the wellbeing of individuals and communities locally and globally.
