Vision
The Department’s vision is to become one of the leading departments on national, regional, and international levels in terms of high quality education, best teaching and learning practices, and research excellence in areas of high significance to mechanical engineering.

Mission
The Department’s mission is to equip mechanical engineering students with the required knowledge, skills, and capabilities, graduating job-ready mechanical engineers who are highly recognized as active citizens and professionals in their communities, can lead and compete in an increasingly complex and competitive industry and job market, and who are sought-after practitioners in Lebanon and the world.
