The program is committed to educate students who will contribute to the world in understanding media and communication.  

Mission

The department of Communication and Social Media’s mission is to provide the students with a comprehensive and interdisciplinary study of human communication and media. Within the university program, we promote critical thinking and analysis, human and media communication, and integration of social media practices, in today’s global media environment.  

 

Program Educational Objectives

• PEO1. Give our students the knowledge and proficiency that makes them qualified for various jobs in news writing and reporting, researching, editing, planning, integrating communication strategies, blogging, and digital marketing.

• PEO2. Provide students with research skills that enable them to pursue Graduate and Post-graduate studies.

• PEO3. Employ the communication and journalistic skills acquired in several media and social media platforms.
