- Served on the faculty of engineering at several universities including Mississippi State University, Tennessee Technological University, the American University of Beirut.
- Held various administrative positions including president, provost, dean, deputy vice chancellor, and department chairperson.
- Authored/co-authored over 90 technical articles and reports and co-authored the Applied Mechatronics textbook, Oxford University Press.
- Served as a consultant on several projects including national consultant of the European Training Federation and UNESCO on TVET governance and training.
- Supervised and co-supervised more than 30 Master theses and Ph.D. dissertations.
- Contributed to the development of Fahad Bin Sultan University in Saudi Arabia, designed several curricula, developed numerous laboratories and courses.
- Involved in developing strategic plans and in institutional and programs’ accreditation efforts in several institutions.
- Organized the first Innovate 4 Lebanon competition and served as a mentor for the Stars of Science TV program innovators.
