Speech Therapy Internship Orientation Session Prepares Students for Clinical Training
The College of Public Health at Phoenicia University organized a Speech Therapy Internship Orientation Session to prepare students from all academic years for their upcoming clinical training experiences. The session aimed to provide a clear understanding of the internship structure, expectations, and available resources, ensuring that students are well-equipped for success in their placements.
The session was conducted by the Speech Therapy Internship Coordinator, the Academic Assistant, and the Administrative Assistant of the College of Public Health. It included a detailed presentation covering the internship framework, supervision process, portfolio and documentation requirements, as well as key policies, procedures, and guidelines outlined in the Internship Handbook. Students were introduced to essential resources supporting their clinical learning and had the opportunity to engage in a Q&A segment to clarify expectations and responsibilities.
By reinforcing clarity and professionalism, this session reflected the College’s ongoing commitment to delivering a comprehensive, student-centered clinical education experience.
