Financial Aid and Scholarship
With its comprehensive financial aid and scholarship programs, Phoenicia University makes sure that qualified students can pursue an outstanding university education, regardless of their financial situation.
This fits with PU’s aim to create greater access to learning for all, and to develop the leaders of tomorrow, who, as PU alumni, will give back to society through their chosen career paths.
PU offers seven categories of financial aid and scholarships, summarized below and detailed in Sections 6.1–6.8 of the financial aid and scholarship policy
Awarded on the basis of outstanding academic achievement, this scholarship primarily supports the top five Baccalaureate scorers nationally, as well as students holding equivalent international diplomas.
Granted to students who demonstrate financial need alongside solid academic standing, this aid helps make their education possible.
Provided to students facing significant financial hardship, this scholarship primarily supports those from the lowest-income households.
Offered to students facing timing difficulties with tuition fee payments, this aid provides short-term support aligned with fee schedules.
Combining financial need with work experience, this program primarily supports students from lower-income households, bottom-quintile and Low- and Lower-Middle-Income Countries (LLMICs).
Based on staff affiliation, this benefit extends tuition support to PU employees' dependents, siblings of PU administrative staff, and staff members pursuing graduate studies.
Awarded on the basis of differently-abled status, this scholarship supports students with disabilities or other special challenges.
Aimed at promoting women's access to and participation in STEM education, this financial aid supports female students enrolled in STEM programs who require financial assistance.
Applications for financial aid and scholarships are open to all, but will be carefully considered by a committee tasked with objectively selecting the most deserving cases.
