Dr. Zahi Abdul Sater, a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences, has recently co-authored a review article about “The Evolving Role of TRAFs in Mediating Inflammatory Responses” together with researchers from York University, Canada. Dr. Abdul Sater’s article has been published in Frontiers in Immunology, one of the top 10 most-cited immunology journals worldwide. In his article, Dr. Abdul Sater focuses on the recent advances in human knowledge regarding the molecular mechanisms through which TRAF proteins regulate, positively and negatively, inflammatory signaling pathways. The article also offers a perspective on the unanswered questions that need to be addressed to fully understand how TRAFs regulate inflammation.
