Phoenicia University has established an academic agreement with The University of Edinburgh, Scotland. The purpose of the agreement is to enable PU students to enroll in The University of Edinburgh’s International Summer School (ISS), International Winter School (IWS), and offered academic and general English courses.
Founded in 1583, the University of Edinburgh (UoE) is the sixth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Britain and Ireland’s seven ancient universities. As rated by the Times Higher Education, UoE ranks among the top universities in Europe (9th, European Teaching Rankings) and worldwide (30th, World University Rankings 2020).
Through such an agreement, Phoenicia University reflects its strong commitment towards internationalizing its curriculum and experiences, in addition to promoting students’ international and intercultural skills and knowledge, global citizenship, and a whole range of 21st century essential skills.
